Sunset Love
Falling Daily
I really like sunrise and sunset pictures. I enjoy taking them and looking at them. Shot anywhere by anyone. Sunrise shots feel like a beginning, a birth, a fresh start. I take many more sunset shots then sunrise shots, because I like waking up slowly and groking the new world and new day without having to hassle with equipment, and taking the time to savor my morning cup of java jive. In other words I am lazy in the morning. Sunsets are another matter. There are like a creshendo. They are epilogue to a well lived day. While sunrises are like birth, sunsets are the ending, the death of the day. They are how all of us want to go out, in a blaze of beauty and glory. So I post mostly sunset shots, and continually get excited to see others shots of sunrises and sunsets.

I can empathize with the morning reveries over a good cup of coffee.
I have to collect myself slowly to begin my day otherwise I am off kilter all day.
I’m like you, as in, I enjoy the sunsets for the same beautifully worded by you reasons.
You know that your sunset photography never fails to bring me joy. Seeing a compilation of your photographs here just reinforces that bliss for me.
Thank you for sharing the gift that is your eye, Jon.
As a fellow opacarophile, your post is “mind boggling” awesome.
Fortunately I’m also a aurofile. A life long addiction, I added coffee into the mix at some point in time!
Other terms for describing your amazing sunsets include -
fiery, golden, radiant, vibrant, blazing, crimson, glowing, amber, luminous, vivid and breathtaking. Etc, etc… 🙏
